• For adults and teens aged 6 and up, take it once a day. Take one tablet in the morning and another in the evening, 12 hours apart, with fat-containing food.

For patients with liver problems, the dose is:

• One tablet of ivacaftor 150 mg every other day for severe liver impairment. Adjust the dose based on how you feel and how well you respond to the treatment.

• One tablet twice a week with strong CYP3A inhibitors.
• One tablet once daily with moderate CYP3A inhibitors.
