What is Symdeko (tezacaftor/ivacaftor)?

Buy Symdeko (tezacaftor / ivacaftor). Symdeko (tezacaftor/ivacaftor)* is a medicine for cystic fibrosis (CF) patients aged 6 and up. It comes in tablets with 100 mg of tezacaftor and 150 mg of ivacaftor. It’s used with another ivacaftor-only medicine.

In Europe, it’s known as Symkevi, and in the U.S., as Symdeko.

Each tablet has 100 mg of tezacaftor and 150 mg of ivacaftor.

Who is Symdeko (tezacaftor/ivacaftor)* for?

Symdeko (tezacaftor/ivacaftor)* is for CF patients aged 6 and up. They must have two F508del mutations or one responsive mutation.

Patients should talk to their doctor to check if they have the right mutation.

How does Symdeko (tezacaftor/ivacaftor)* work?

Cystic Fibrosis (CF) causes thick mucus in lungs and digestive tract. This leads to breathing and digestive issues, infections, and diabetes. It’s caused by CFTR gene mutations.

These mutations affect the CFTR protein, making mucus and juices thick. Symdeko (tezacaftor/ivacaftor)* fixes this by boosting CFTR protein and activity.

This makes ion transport normal, reducing mucus thickness.

Where has Symdeko (tezacaftor/ivacaftor)* been approved?

Symdeko (tezacaftor/ivacaftor)* was approved for CF treatment in several places:
